Welcome to our collection of beautifully crafted Handmade Irish Tiles from Historic County Louth, which is known as the “Land of Legends”. We take our inspiration from the dramatic Mourne Mountains of County Down and the rolling green fields of County Louth. Creative Director Louise Shaw captures the magic of this landscape with interpretations of classical Celtic Art alongside original designs, which are guaranteed to add a unique and legendary touch of inspiration to your home.
We hope you enjoy exploring our collection of Handmade Irish Tiles and discovering our range of Backsplashes, Accent Tiles and Art Tiles.
Planning a kitchen renovation? Now we may be biased, but we believe the backsplash is the most crucial part because it’s your chance to be creative and make your home truly unique – whether it’s a country style or a more contemporary look you’re aiming for. We offer a range of beautiful designs inspired by Celtic art, rural life and the wildlife of Ireland. We also custom make designs, so if you have a vision we can make it a reality.
With our handmade accent tile you can create unique installations of style and sophistication. Our tiles can be used in almost any part or your living space. Whether you want to create a sophisticated feel or use a single, bold colour to add a fun flare, our tiles provide an undeniable beauty and natural look that cannot be understated. Making your home legendary.
Celtic Valley ceramics brings to you a collection of hand-carved Art tiles created by the artist Louise Shaw and inspired by the beautiful fauna and flora of the Irish landscape. Legendary creatures, woodland animals and enchanting wildflowers emerge from the clay and spring to life in these delightful sketches in clay.
At Celtic Valley Ceramics we create beautifully handcrafted bas-relief art tiles which can be used as feature tiles around your home.
In 2013 Louise and Andy and their four children relocated to County Louth in Ireland and set up home in a country cottage with suitable outbuildings to convert into a workshop. Here, they established Celtic Valley Ceramics and began creating a range of tiles inspired by their travels in Asia and their home in Ireland.
